On December 20, 2023, a delegation of senior officials from the Ministry of Health of Libya visited West Nikan Hospital.
The Libyan delegation included several deputy ministers and senior directors from the Ministry of Health, among them Dr. Azzam Alhadi Omar, Director of the International Cooperation Department, and Dr. Mohamed Salem Al-Zaidi, Director of the Emergency Organization of the Ministry of Health, along with other accompanying officials. They were welcomed by Dr. Mohammad Reza Soroush, President of West Nikan Hospital, along with several managers and members of the International Patients Department (IPD) team. The delegation toured various departments of the hospital.
During the meeting, the Libyan officials expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to visit the hospital and their satisfaction with its advanced facilities. They also conveyed interest in fostering collaboration in areas such as patient referrals, exchange of medical knowledge and expertise, and facilitating medical services for Libyan patients at West Nikan Hospital, as well as exploring broader bilateral cooperation with the hospital’s management.
