The history of the Nikan Limited Surgery Center dates back to the mid-2000s (1380s in the Persian calendar), when a customer-oriented and patient-centered approach, alongside a culture of continuous quality improvement in healthcare services, became a priority for the country’s health system policymakers.
This mindset inspired several doctors and managers from Milad Hospital to establish a hospital with a different vision in healthcare services, particularly in how patients are treated. Their goal was to create a hospital founded on compassion and kindness toward themselves, colleagues, society, and patients — a vision that became known as “Nikan.”
After more than three years of service at the Nikan Hospital building, located in northeast Tehran, the Nikan group decided to expand their medical services by establishing an Ophthalmology Center and an Infertility Treatment Center (IVF).
According to the construction permit, the building project for this center began on January 25, 2014 (1392/11/05) on a plot of approximately 800 square meters, located in the Aghdasiyeh area (opposite the Nikan Hospital building).
The Ophthalmology Center, Infertility Treatment Center, and other clinics within the complex were officially inaugurated on November 22, 2017 (1396/09/01) as part of the group’s social responsibility and efforts to increase the number of specialized medical centers. Since then, the Nikan Subspecialty Clinic has been dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of the Iranian people.

Undoubtedly, having good health is a common desire of all humans, which is why the days of illness are among the most difficult and bitter memories of any person, especially if these days are spent in the hospital and away from family. And we, the medical team, are the companions of these difficult and bitter times of patients in the hospital.
